JAG Cap Advisors started in 2007.  JAG Cap works with  a dozen corporate finance/private equity/M&A consultants, and approximately another 20 sector or country specific outside "best friend" firms. JAG Cap is firmly now positioned in Western Europe and the US (Boston, New York and the West Coast). The firm also has good contacts in Asia (Hong Kong and Singapore) and the Middle East but is looking to continue to expand the deal flow advisory services in both the Middle East and Asia .

Alexandra E. Caminer is the CEO of JAG Cap Advisors.  
Alexandra has led and grown JAG Cap Advisors for the past 14 years. Before that, Alexandra spent 12 years as a lawyer at well known global law firms based between London and New York. She was a Solicitor at Linklaters London/New York offices in the Corporate Finance Group where she covered a number of IPOs, debt offerings, public and private M&A. Thereafter she joined Simpson Thacher & Bartlett as their first UK lawyer and specialised in Private Equity and finally joined White & Case London Office. At high school, Alexandra received a French Baccalaureat with honours specialising in Economics.  At University, she received an LLB with honours from King's College London in 1994, was elected President of the King's College European Society in her penultimate year and was elected Vice-President of the Law Society in her final year. She concluded the Legal Practice Course in 1994 and started her legal traineeship from 1995-97. She is a member since 1997 of the Law Society of England and Wales. In 2016, Alexandra completed a course in Understanding Financial Markets with the University of Geneva achieving a 91.6% grade.  As a hobby, Alexandra enjoys skiing, tennis, photography and piano. She is also a Managing Director of JAG Capital Group Ltd., an SFO since 2011.
